May 3, 2008 - Mass at the Chapel with Youth
Volunteers and the Community (Chapel
clean-up by May, 2008

- Inter-Barangay Junior Division Team submission & meeting

May 4, 2008 - Inter-purok Team Submission & Meeting

- Bible Study at the Chapel/Fellowship

May 6, 2008 - Start of the Inter Purok Basketball Games for Midget Division (13-16
years of age) & Senior Division (18 years of age & above)

May 7, 2008 - Start of the Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament for Junior Division
only (18 to 23 years of age)

May 10, 2008 - Start of the month long beautification/clean/green campaign of the
whole area of the Barangay.

May 11, 2008 - Bible Study at the Chapel/Fellowship

May 12, 2008 - Film Showing: “An Inconvenient Truth – A Global Warning”

May 13-16, 2008 - Basketball Games for the Inter-Purok & Inter-Barangay

May 17, 2008 - Community Clean-up spearheaded by the Youth Execom

May 18, 2008 - Bible Study at the Chapel/Fellowship

May 19, 2008 - Film Showing: “The 11th Hour: Eco Solutions to Environmental Crisis

May 20-23, 2008 - Basketball Games for the Inter-Purok & Inter-Barangay

- Start of the Free Tutorial Classes for Elementary Students for Math & English handled by Mr. Mark Enem

May 24, 2008 - Putting-up of Garbage Cans (Biodegradable, Non-Biodegradable, Recycleble) and Environmental Messages & Posters) on selected key
areas of the whole Barangay

May 25, 2008 - Bible Study at the Chapel/Fellowship

- Film Showing: “Penguin, Penguin, Paano Ka Ginawa?”

May 26, 2008 - Public Forum for the Integrated Waste Management Program, Garbage Collection System and Recycling to be attended by Youth Committee,
Barangay Council, Purok Leaders, Lupon Members, Tanods, &
Selected participants to be conducted by PNOC Environmental Management Division & Community Partnership Department

May 26-27, 2008 - Basketball Games for Inter-Purok & Inter-Barangay

May 28-29, 2008 - Tongonan Youth Camp: Value Formation, Seminar/Workshop & Teambuilding for the Youth Committee and assisted by PNOC Community Partnership Department

May 30, 2008 - Putting-up of poles with green flags on the roadside from CHES
Motor pool to spillway area up to health center area, as well as the event area. Posting of colored posters, black & white posters, and streamers from neighboring Barangay, Tongonan proper, Campsite, and at Ormoc City

May 31, 2008 - Start of Inter-Purok Volleyball Tournament for Girls

June 1, 2008 - June 2008: Environmental Month Campaign Activity spearheaded by Youth Committee. Suggested activities: All household members clean-up of the Tongonan Proper area on the day and by night time Video Showing of Environmental Messages, Environmental Crisis Awareness; Environmental Topics for Air Quality, Climate Change, Energy, & Water, and with insertion of Environmental Song’s Offering by the Youth. (No Bible study on this Sunday)

- Festival’s first day of Radio Broadcast over DYAJ Power FM-Ormoc

June 2-5, 2008 - Basketball & Volleyball Games regular schedule

June 4, 2008 - Bao River Clean-up

June 6, 2008 - SK GREEN BRIGADE PROGRAM: “PLANT FOR THE PLANET: Tongonan Ormoc TREE-mendous Planting & Campaign” assisted by PNOC Energy Development Corporation’s Environmental Management Division (EMD) & Community Partnership Department(CPD) and simultaneous with Tongonan Kananga Youth Tree Planting activity and will be join by SK Federation Members of Ormoc & Kananga, and Youth Parishes Organization of Ormoc City Parish

- 8:00 PM Opening Salvo – Macho Gay Contest, Youth Talent Offering, & Disco Party with Lights & Sounds by Country Mouse

June 7, 2008 - Thanksgiving Mass at the Chapel with Youth Committee

June 8, 2008 - Bible Study at the Chapel/Fellowship

June 9, 2008 - Medical & Dental Mission

June 10-12, 2008 - Basketball Games Semi-Finals & Volleyball Games

June 13, 2008 - Dance Sports Competition (Open) and Disco Party with lights & sounds by Country Mouse

June 14, 2008 - Fellowship Concert “OUT LOUD FOR PLANET EARTH” with Youth for Christ, Singles for Christ, & Couples for Christ & Youth Parishes Organization (joining with Tongonan Kananga as event co-presenter)

June 15, 2008 - Coastal Clean-up at Ormoc Bay garbage disposal will be arranged by
the City’s dump trucks

June 16-19, 2008 - Finals of the Basketball Games & Volleyball Games

June 20, 1008 - Launching of SK R.O.C.K (Radical One & Concerned Kabataan) Program of the Out-of-School Youth Skills Training Program & Livelihood Program & Disco Party with lights & sounds by Country Mouse

June 22, 2008 - R.O.C.K. ENGAGE: INSPIRE.CONNECT.ACT for EARTH – a Live Band Concert featuring ___________________ and local bands from Ormoc & Leyte and Youth Tribute (with releasing of small squared hot air balloons in the air symbolizing the “Light of Hope in Saving the World” while singing the song “Heal the World” then everybody will join the singing) (everybody is encouraged to wear green color t-shirts) (showing of various environmental messages & photos during the concert)

June 23, 2008 - Kasadyaan sa Tongonan Ormoc Year 2: Free 2B Green Grand Disco Party and Awarding Ceremony of the Winners of the Basketball Games & Volleyball

- Candle Lighting on every household outside of their respective home to honor the Grand Procession of the Image of St. John the Baptist from the Chapel going to CHES motor pool, then straight ahead to TOFA area then to Storage Area then exit at PNOC motor pool straight ahead from the elementary school to Bao area, then Bao spillway, then Health Center area, then back to the chapel.

June 24, 2008 - Kasadyaan sa Tongonan Ormoc Year 2: Free 2B Green Kapistahan Day Celebration:
- Diana
- Pontifical Mass/Fiesta Mass
- Baptismal
- Pinoy Games Relay starting from Junction Road, then next at the front of Tacloy’s Residence, then next at Bus Parking Area, then at infront of Napoles residence, then next at Kag. Potoy’s residence, then next at Victorio’s/Rebuyas residence, then next at waiting shed area, then to finish at the Bao river. (35 members per team, 7 games, 5 players on each game, team with most win in each game won)
- 3RD Bao River age-group Swimming Competition
- 1st Ligo-Ligo sa Bao (with tube inflatables)
