Students, teachers and parents are invited to participate in a special tribute to Astronaut Ellison Onizuka and join the learning and discovery in science in the 10th annual
Astronaut Ellison Onizuka Science Day. Astronaut Onizuka was a member of STS 51L, Challenger, and was Hawaii's first astronaut. Featured are 24 workshops, 20 displays, an astronaut keynote speaker, and a closing science demonstration program. Many of the workshops and displays will feature "green science" and sustainability activities. Free and open to the public through pre registration.
