"Chicago Kayak Earth Day 2008 Skokie Lagoons - April 20th 9am-noon This year Earth Day falls on a Tue, but we will do our clean up on the Sun before - our clean up, scheduled for 9:00am un, April 20th will be better than ever! Gloves, pick sticks and garbage bags provided courtesy of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County. Please join us. Have a canoe or kayak? You can bring that and do your clean up from the water's edge. We will also have boats to borrow too, first come first serve. Lots of trash on land, so you don't need to be on the water to help! Bring your kids, brothers and sisters, coworkers, anyone who wants to make a difference!"
