2007-2008 INITIATIVES
This school year, teacher Penelope (Penny) Greenler and her students are addressing a number of green issues in their school and community. They are active with the Mill Creek Restoration Project, cleaning up a local degraded creek and also contacting local industries to reduce the pollution they contribute to the creek. Additionally, Penny and her students have collaborated with the school board and local government to incorporate green curriculum and design into schools.
