Jan Martin Will

The German Photographer Jan Martin Will grew up in Ethiopia, Africa and currently lives in Stuttgart, Germany. He took up photography as a hobby at an early age and two years ago finally turned his passion into a part-time career. Jan does stock-photography, event photography and other freelance projects. He specializes in photo-design.

Jan has travelled extensively and in 2005 and 2006 he had the unique opportunity to visit both the Arctic and Antarctica, where he was able to take fascinating images of penguins, polar bears and icebergs, capturing the silent beauty of the polar landscape.

He is an aircraft mechanic by training and worked for a private helicopter company for a few years. He also spent a year in Los Angles to further his education and is married to an American. Currently, Jan is pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering while still running an expanding photography business.

Jan loves to capture the beauty of nature and create images which both tell a story and possess a deeper meaning. Global warming is a prominent theme in his portfolio.
