Natural Resources and Wildlife

Between 1.5 and 100 million species live on planet Earth; Homo sapiens, human beings, represent only one. Every region of the world has its own diverse ecosystem comprising a variety of different plants, animals, and microbial organisms. This vast diversity of life provides us with some of our most essential resources, such as food and medicine. It is our responsibility to learn about diversity and take action to save these resources; the following materials offer a first step in this process.
