Summary

Into design?  How about architecture, education, or both?  If the answer is “yes,” Earth Day Network (EDN) has a unique internship opportunity.  We have partnered with The School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Department of Architecture to bridge the worlds of design and education for 21st century learning.  Need the conceptual framework? Visit www.next.cc and see the almost limitless opportunities for this internship.  In essence, EDN wants to expand the potential of NEXT.CC, its marketability, and content, all within the realm of promoting green design education.  This is a largely autonomous internship that is great for an undergraduate thesis or graduate study in action.

Responsibilities

These entail coordinating with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s personnel and interns to develop the launch of NEXT.CC on EDN’s Education website, in addition to communicating its possibilities to others, exploring funding opportunities and developing content for the site.  Other opportunities are open to be explored.

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
