A sustainability fair for the community of Mercer Island, Washington, USA. Focus of the fair is the engagement of Children of All Ages in the issues surrounding sustainability and living lighter on the land.
There will be book readings/signings, a Native American story teller and drummer, a reptile man, footprint calculators designed for different ages, a park planting event, mini-farmers market, a slide presentation of Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth and much more.
It will be at the Mercer Island Community Center on Saturday, April 19th, 2008 from 10am to 2pm.
